Cerec 3D allows us to restore damaged teeth quickly and easily with natural, tooth-coloured ceramic fillings, saving patients time and inconvenience. With over 6 million restorations placed worldwide, Cerec 3D is rapidly becoming a treatment of choice over conventional tooth-coloured fillings.
How does Cerec 3D work?
At the beginning of the Cerec 3D process, a highly accurate digital image of your shaped tooth is taken. The work needed is planned on a computer. Solid blocks of ceramic material, which are among the hardest of all tooth-coloured materials, are designed into beautifully fitted inlays, onlays, partial crowns, full crowns or veneers. You see everything that is happening on the advanced computer screen using 3D software. Cerec will then precision mill the ceramic block. We use advanced bonding systems to fuse the custom-created restoration to your shaped natural tooth.
Benefits of Cerec 3D:
-
Much more of your natural tooth can be saved than was possible before Cerec;
-
Cerec fillings can almost be completed in one visit, whereas other techniques need asecond visit;
-
With Cerec there is no need for multiple impressions;
-
With Cerec there is no need for a delay of up to two weeks, requiring a temporary filling in the meantime.
